Painting for President Bush
In 2012, I had the opportunity to paint a Navy G-1 for "41", President George H.W. Bush. This was a double honor for because not only was he a WWII pilot who had flown 58 missions, but he was also my Commander in Chief when I was in the military and in the Gulf War with the 3rd Armored Cavalry.

The artwork for his jacket had to be pre-approved by the Bush Presidential Library and it reflects a great love he had, CVN-77, the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush. The ship and F-18's, it's patch, and his Navy call sign and wings were portrayed. I received a glowing, personal letter from him thanking me for his jacket and it is one of my prized possessions. He loved it!
